Brachioplasty in Palm Desert, CA

An arm lift can enhance the contours of the arms to produce a sculpted, more youthful appearance. At Eko Plastic Surgery, we are proud to offer this procedure to the residents of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, CA and surrounding areas.

What is a Brachioplasty?

A brachioplasty, also called an arm lift, is a surgical procedure that eliminates excess skin and fat from the upper arms to create a more sculpted appearance. This can be a great solution for patients who are experiencing sagging skin as a result of the natural aging process. Many patients who have achieved significant weight loss may also find that they can benefit from a brachioplasty procedure, as it can eliminate the loose skin that often remains after weight loss. After an arm lift procedure, patients can enjoy enhanced muscle definition and improved shape in the arms.

How Much Does a Brachioplasty Cost?

The cost of your brachioplasty procedure at Eko Plastic Surgery will vary depending on the treatment plan that we develop for you. During your consultation, we will discuss your cosmetic goals and treatment needs in order to determine the treatment approach that will be ideal for you. For this reason, we will not be able to provide you with the cost of your treatment until you have the chance to come in and discuss your treatment goals with Dr. Eko.

What is the Brachioplasty Procedure Like?

Generally, the brachioplasty procedure is performed under general anesthesia and on an outpatient basis. During the procedure, Dr. Eko will make an incision on the inside of the arm, somewhere between the elbow and the armpit. The length of this incision will depend on the extent of treatment necessary to fulfill your treatment goals. Through the incision, we will remove excess skin and fat to reshape the arm. A brachioplasty procedure typically takes about one to two hours.

What is the Recovery Like After a Brachioplasty?

After a brachioplasty, there is an initial recovery period of one to two weeks. During this time, patients will need to take time off of work and other activities in order to ensure a smooth recovery. You can expect swelling, bruising, and varying discomfort during this time. It will be important for you to avoid any activities that require lifting or other strenuous movements in the arms until the initial recovery period is complete.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from a Brachioplasty?

The results from your brachioplasty will be visible immediately, although you may not be able to notice the full results of treatment until swelling and other side effects begin to fade. The results from brachioplasty are permanent, but the arms will still be susceptible to the natural aging process.

After a brachioplasty, patients can enjoy sculpted arms that enhance their figure and give them a more youthful appearance. At Eko Plastic Surgery, we offer this and other body sculpting procedures to the residents of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, and the nearby areas of California.
