A rhinoplasty is a complex surgical procedure, but Dr. Eko of Eko Plastic Surgery possesses the skill and the experience necessary to produce beautiful, natural-looking results. We are proud to offer this procedure to the patients living in Palm Springs, Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage, CA.
A rhinoplasty, also called a nose job, is a surgical procedure that can adjust the proportion and appearance of the nose to create better facial harmony. The procedure can enhance the profile of the nose, its width, its symmetry, or its size in relation to facial balance. Rhinoplasty can even be used to alter the nostrils or nasal tip. Rhinoplasty can also be a reconstructive procedure, used to correct a deviated septum or other conditions that make breathing difficult. At Eko Plastic Surgery, after discussing your treatment goals, we use digital imaging to show the results that you can expect from surgery.
The cost of your rhinoplasty at Eko Plastic Surgery will vary depending on the treatment plan that we develop for you. During your consultation, we will discuss your cosmetic goals and treatment needs in order to determine the treatment approach that will be ideal for you. For this reason, we will not be able to provide you with the cost of your treatment until you have the chance to come in and discuss your treatment goals with Dr. Eko.
A liquid rhinoplasty is a non-surgical nose enhancement procedure that uses dermal fillers and injectables. With a liquid rhinoplasty, a dermal filler is injected into the nose, adding volume in specific areas to change its shape. This can produce enhanced facial balance without the surgery, downtime, and cost of a traditional rhinoplasty. At Eko Plastic Surgery, we use Juvéderm® for liquid rhinoplasty treatments.
Rhinoplasty surgery, performed under local sedation or general anesthetic, is an outpatient procedure that usually lasts about two hours. During the procedure, incisions are made discreetly within the nostrils or in the natural creases of the nose, where they will be concealed. Through these incisions, Dr. Eko will manipulate or remove cartilage and bone to create the desired results.
Immediately after the surgery, you can expect swelling and temporary bruising around the eyes and nose, headaches, and occasional bleeding. The initial recovery period lasts about two weeks, during which time patients may need to take time off of work and other activities. Even though patients will be able to resume these activities within a short time, it can take about a year for the recovery process to be complete.
Eko Plastic Surgery has helped many patients achieve a boost in confidence and enhanced facial balance with the rhinoplasty procedure. If you are located in Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage or the nearby areas of California, contact us today to schedule your initial consultation.
